I am a Native Hawaiian female artist. I gain inspiration from the past and the present. I participated in the Congressional Arts Competition and the Scholastic Art Competitions in Hawaii and gained a Gold Key Award in high school. I graduated with a Bachelors in Studio Art and I graduated with my MEdT in the Ho`okulaiwi program where the focus is teaching Native Hawaiian students, with the content area being Art. I participated in the HOEA program in Waimea on the Big Island and learned wood turning, jewelry making, stone carving, wood carving, print making and kapa making. If I gain inspiration from the past and present, then it is my goal to give inspiration to the future.
